Introduction
This is a blog by me: P-Dub, a Dutch Hip Hop-enthousiast. I will post some links about new or old albums, a review here and there and sometimes a fellow head will post up a thing. I'm not sure how it is set up with certain content, so I have to find out about that. I'm totally new to this and will learn along the way and get better. I am a stubborn man, so I don't RTFM. This will be mainly about the entire Golden Era, and more Underground type of ish of the 21st century.
A little bit about me, I am a 1974-born head and my 3 favorite MC's would be Rakim, Kool Keith and Canibus. The order is interchangeable, at the moment I listen the most to Canibus. But I see Rakim as the GOAT, and Keith is one of the most innovating, groundbreaking MC's (act with Ultramag) in my eyes. My favorite 3 Hip Hop-albums of all times in order: Critical Beatdown by Ultramagnetic MC's, Midnight Marauders by A Tribe Called Quest and Paid In Full by Eric B. & Rakim.
I also hold a passion for graffiti, never had any real talent. I dont got enough content plus it's mainly IG for me. So to post about that would be ridiculous. I used to be a collector of photo's and tag along a bit, but never had it coming. So I decided to quit a long time ago. My favorite graffiti-writers of all time (also a top 3) are Dondi, Duster and Sento.
There are some local Hip Hop-heroes in the city I live at (which is Uden, Noord Brabant) in the pretty south of Netherlands. Info about them (Dope Posse) will probably follow later, hopefully by some help from my 'mentor'. I will do an occasional review of an old or new album (but I already told you that). Give my views on some things or just post some funny tweets or IG-posts by my favorites over there.
I hope you all will enjoy my blog when more posts will follow. In order to keep this a good blog I will ask some other people I got to know throughout the years to write a little bit or do a little thingy. If you ever got any questions or request for me to post about, just shoot. Not sure if there can be shoutboxes or anything here, but I have to find out about that. That's it for now.
